The first two bags of lump I used when I got my egg was RO. Not bad stuff at all, just had a lot of smaller chunks with some medium sized.

Found out through the Naked Whiz that RO is sold as the Wegman's Lump at Wegman's. I thought it looked good when I dumped it out.

Let me know if it's worth getting Mike. I bought a bag of R.O. last year at Canadian Tire and was way too smokey. Took well over an hour to get rid of the white smoke. Maybe I had a bad bag? Would like to try again but not sure if the bags we get here are the same as the ones in the US for the same American made stuff.

I buy 40lbs bags of RO made in Argentina. I like it! It will snap crackle pop if you hit it too hard with mapp. I find the pieces larger and not made from old wood pallets. It will smoke a little at start up but not any more than others I have tried. It is packaged for restaurants and maybe different than the smaller bags. You have to admit, even if it is not high on TNW list,
at $6.99 you can over look some short comings. I buy it at Restaurant Depot. I belive they are all around the country.SEE YOU IN FLORIDA, March 14th and 15th 2014 http://www.sunshinestateeggfest.com You must master temp, smoke, and time to achive moisture, taste, and texture!
