Small and Indirect

Thanks to Dave Stamper, I "fabricated" (actually, bent over the edge of the kitchen counter) two steel brackets to hold a drip pan / heat deflector under the grill on my small. Total cost was about $4.[p]Works like a charm - dinner last evening was lamb ribs. An hour at 250º rendered the fat and they were by far the best lamb ribs I've ever had.

I think he's actually Lamont Cranston: "the Shadow knows what Egging lurks in the hearts..."[p]The weather is, well, "Colorado." Hasn't snowed down here in Denver for probably a month: the mountains are snow-covered (one ski area is already reporting depths over 6 feet!) On any given day, Denver temps are 45 to 55, at night 20's & 30's.[p]How's life in the land of sunshine & citrus?[p]Ken
