Cube steak burgers help

Ever since the North Ga Eggers met at my house I have been wanting to cook the cube steak burgers like Jeet did. I have searched the forum to see what technique people use for these but nothing came up.
So tonight I am going to sautee onions and then cook the cube steak burgers on a raised grid at 400 degrees for a few minutes on each side. I will put cheese on them and the sauteed onion. I already have the small burger buns.
Any other suggestions from you folks would be appreciated....

I have been wanting to try these too. Jeet's were awesome. Seems like he said something about soy sauce.

did you get to try the Phili cheese steaks we did at the Chili cook off? We used cube steak!! People were grabbing them faster that a "hound dog on a raccoon"

Funny statement Damon. I mentioned using cube steak in cheesesteak sammies on the forum a year or so ago and got ridiculed for it.
I still do it, and they are still delicious. -
Do you cheese whiz on your Philly Cube steaks????

With the following you can make them into Gebby Burgers. Dust with DP Cow Lick rub and garlic salt and then egg direct at 400 for 4/4/2 with the last 2 used to melt a combo of 1 slice each of American cheese, Swiss cheese and hot pepper cheese - top with your grilled onions and you'll be saying WOWSWER! While this may sound odd I'm here to tell you it's a very rich tasting sandwich.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

Sounds great to me....I hope to have some good pics tonight...
