Big 'uns sauce

At the risk of harping, I did some more legs tonight but this time basted them with Big'uns Perfect Ten sauce.
Never had a leg roaster til Todd sent me one and it works really well.

I licked the basting brush and the ramiken so as not to waste any.

Now your dog's gonna be pissed. Not only did you eat the meal, you took away his cleanup :woohoo: Those hangers are great.

Pat,
You should have heard the coyotes out back while it was cooking. Just begging!

Todd,
I'll be needing about 128 jars of thet stuff as soon as you get it going. My wife, Norma, said to tell you it was the best sauce she has ever had.

Bless Norma's heart. You need to have her cloned! I drove all day to Cleveland and back to interview another copacker. Hoping this one will work out. Just canned three gallons of sauce as soon as I walked through the door. I'm about beat!

Todd,
It's not easy bud but stay with it. Y'all have something special there.

hey might that have been my 3 gallons you canned??? LOLOL from what i hear on this forum i will need to order it by the gallon!!

Thanks for the kind words from both of you. I had to slightly thin the sauce because it will barely pour from a ring neck bottle. I think the taste is more pronounced now. I have to wait until tomorrow to retest. I'm actually excited, I just hope I can get the word out about it.

Why Moose Mike, you guessed it, 1 three gallon jar and a big ole straw just for you. :woohoo: Actually, I'm testing right now and trying to get enough samples made so I can share with our egging pals. I'm afraid to make a list.

Big'un, I don't know what your biz background is, but have you thought of going to a local college/university that offers a good business/MBA program, and getting some consulting? It might well be that their MBA students are looking for a good small business to support as a class project. In my MBA program, for example, I developed a marketing plan for a new salad dressing. I get a kick out of seeing it on the shelf whenever I go to the grocery nowadays. The students are motivated to work hard because they want to impress their teacher with what a great business plan they've come up with. You have a perfect application for this, because you know the recipe and you're not at risk of having somebody that consults for you steal your idea the way it could happen with other products.
It's sadly common to have a small business come up with a great new product but struggle with the business and financial side of things. From what everybody has been saying that's tasted your sauce, it would be tragic if all your creativity and deliciousness was lost to the world because of issues unrelated to how good the sauce was.
You may have a Dilbert-style opinion that all "managers" are spawn of Satan, but at the very least your local university might have a small biz support program that could be very valuable to you in avoiding mistakes and developing a business plan that suits you and your product.
Good luck to you, sir! -
Thanks for the great suggestion. I emailed you back BTW. I've got a lady from UGA small business devopment helping. Your idea is a great one! I'll check into that further!
