Last week I made the wonderful bananas balinese with ice cream for desert. Thanks to everyone on the forum for that tip. Today I was a hero when I made the bananas balinese while I fried up some beignets. When the beignets puffed up, I took a small slice of banana with topping and slid them into the center of each beignet. The family loved it. BBBB BBQ'd Banana Balinese Beignets. It doesn't get much better than this!

    I love beignets! I bet the banana would be very good. Unfortunatley I havent been successful in making beignets here on the hills of West Virginia. They claim its the altitude :-( Of course I dont have New Orleans water to get them tasting like Cafe Du Monde's - heh[p]I will be down in that area for Christmas...maybe Du Monde would make me some with bananas by request? LOL[p]-Boccie[p]
