started the day with a Blueberry Bomb

Talk about a way to start a day...

As I opened a new quart of frozen blueberries for cereal I dropped it. It first hit the edge of the counter and then on to the floor. I swear it exploded and sent berries all over the kitchen. That ruckus awakened our two Westies and they came barking as I was yelling at them to back off for fear they would grab some and spread the stains throughout the house. By then Pat was helping clean up too and as I swept the floor the berries were melting and already leaving purple streaks. The counters also suffered stains galore. Talk about moving fast to clean up a kitchen that was us! May your morning be less eventfull! :laugh:

now if you only had a 30 plus year old faded and stained indoor/outdoor blue rug glued to your kitchen floor like i do. no problems dropping blueberries here we're not going to talk about the ceiling in the kitchen though, i get a kick out of those home improvement shows where they destroy a nice kitchen for one more up to date. where does one apply for one of those shows. town appraisal the other day, i think my taxes are going down because of that rug, maybe enough for some more fishing equipement, cant have too many lures.
