    I don't recalling one one post where the Nomex itself has had a problem.

    I'm a new egger and I too had a gasket problem on my new large after the 3rd cook. The first two were low temp cooks and the third was ribeyes at 650*. When I open the lid to cook last week about a 1/4 of the gasket was hanging. I e-mailed HQ and they are sending me a new gasket, but I'm not sure which type. This seems to be somewhat of a prolem for more than just a few.
