Oh golly, geez, I just can't wait. Just told Randy I gotta start thinking about those "ugly steaks". How much meat should we prepare for this after party throw down? Should I loan you one of my ya yas since Spawn isn't coming?

i'm getting eggcited too!!!. ...you only need enough to feed 3 judges, although you'll probably want to grill up more than that for the after party crowd (i'll probably grill up 3 or 4 hangers for that reason). ..when i go to my butcher the week before for my hanger steaks, i'll see if he has flap meat as well and if he does i'll give you guys a call and see if you want me to buy some for you and bring it with me . . .

as for assistants. .. .i'm sure i'll be able to come up with someone down there, ya-ya or otherwise. . .

btw. ..i was talking to chubby yesterday .due to all that they are dealing with down in houston, he is now backing out of atlanta this year. ..their house is ok, but they still had a lot of damage with downed trees and fences and still now power or water. ..so i gotta find a new roomie...

unfortunately though, due to Ike, he is now not coming to atlanta. . .had a long talk with him last night, and while the house survived ok, he has a lot of tree/fence damage, still no power and water, and for a variety of reasons, he and ann need to stay put. .. .

That was my first eggfest and I was running all over the place. This year I will save money by not hanging around with Fidel. I got there after the pic was taken. They really supported you and kept it going. This year Max is doing the Team Desert concept. I should have the design Monday.
