can refried beans be frozen?

I use barely a half a can in a recipe and hate to waste the rest. OTOH they go bad in the refrig before I need any again. Thanks!

oh I've had a Food Saver for several years and swear by it. It's just that for some dumb reason I never tried freezing the re fried beans on my own. OTOH I have tried and failed doing some other food items which I thought were a slam dunk!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time
