Flat Iron Steaks

These are our new favorite steak. I have made them at least once a week since reading about them on here. I have a friend who is a butcher at Publix and he cuts these for me, and stickers them at $4.99 a pound.
So this was dinner last night...

Flat Iron steaks, butternut squash, corn and baked potatoes. It was all delicious.

Just a little DP Raising the Steaks, on the Egg direct at 600 for about 3 mins per side. I leave mine on a minute longer for medium, but Hubby and son like theirs med/rare.

Marie,
I have to agree. We buy them from Kroger or Publix when they are on sale for $3.99 or $4.99 per lb...I counted yesterday and we have 12 of them in our freezer...LOL
try fixing some Bernaise sauce to go with them..OMG... :P -
hmmm... Flat irons, I was very happy the first time I ran into them at the grocery store. Food looks good.
