Rib eye. 700 degree sear and roasted to 120 internal. Got a little carried away with the sear :evil:. Baked potato with butter, cheddar and some pig candy. Onion cooked in foil with a couple pats of butter and a beef bullion cube then dusted with Dizzy Pig Swamp Venom and put back on the grill for a few minutes. Nice.

Very nice looking steaks. When I used to sear at 700 degrees, my wife complained the steaks tasted of burnt meat. Yours look like mine when I sear at 550. How long did you sear? I normally go for 90 seconds a side. Again nice job.

These were about 90 seconds a side as well but I didn't time them. Will be going down to 550 next time - my bride asked for less sear and the customer is always right :laugh: .

You are correct. After 38 year of marriage, I too know that the bride is always right.

Knock off their horns and wipe their a____. That's what a friend of mine used to say. If you really like em like that and you are in the UK, order your steak "Blue". It will come out cold in the middle and just browned on the outside. I like em rare, but not blue.

The ribeye looks great but love the grilled onion! Peppers, garlic and onion don't do much for the love life but sure does flavor life! :laugh:
