Just bought an XL and am going to cook my first ribs. Bought them from Costco. It looks like the membrane has already been removed. Does anyone have any experience with this issue?

Yes Skipper...Costco BB ribs are great...and they already have the membrane removed. Usually sold three racks to a pack...for about $3.49 Lb.

I made some from Cosco last weekend and they still had the membrane. Best ribs I ever made! They had more meat on them than I have ever seen. Good luck, post pix.

From what I've heard it's the luck of the draw. Sometimes you'll get some that have it still and sometimes it will be removed and then sometimes you could get a mix in the same pack.
