Mainegg's Bluberry Pie Recipe

I decided yesterday to try Julie's recipe for blueberry pie on the egg. I fired up my medium to let it burn off and come up to temperature.

I followed her recipe exactly and it turned out great! Mine took a little longer (about 65 minutes) than the 45 minutes suggested in her recipe. For about the last 15 minutes I increased the dome temperature to 400*.

The crust was uniformly golden brown with no burning of the edges.

Sorry - no photos. My wife is the photographer in the family and she wasn't home. Actually, I made the pie to surprise her upon her return.

Try it. You'll love it.
