Spring Chicken,
Looks great, do you have a second grate or bricks or whatever to hold the drip pan, thanks for guidance?

Silver Tonjgue Devil,
Thanks. I used the Plate Setter with the feet up and grill on top of that. The drip pan sits on the Plate Setter. Works like a champ.[p]Spring Chicken

Spring Chicken,
Was that a whole or trimmed brisket?
-
ravnhaus,
It was an untrimmed whole brisket when I got it at Kroger Saturday for $ .99 a pound. It was the smallest of the litter, at about 8 pounds. I cut off about a pound of fat, covered it with Fiesta Brisket Rub and a little Montreal Steak Rub, and let in rest in the frig overnight. Then I added enough bacon slices to cover it from end to end before putting it on the Egg. I could definitely taste the hickory from the bacon. Also very juicy. It passed the taste test here so I took some to my neighbor and he liked it. May try it again sometimes.[p]Spring Chicken

Spring Chicken,
Did you eat the bacon?
-
ravnhaus,
Of course... But it really wasn't as good as fried bacon.[p]SC
