I chatted here for about a year and half when we decided to go to Ocala this year. I just did not know what to expect (and the wife let me know it better not be boring. That would require her to watch the kids while I ate and socialized)

Everyone was great and the fest was a blast. That led to having lunch in Tampa with the usual suspects (minus Scotty) We also had lunch with Qbabe and QBH on the way back to Alabama (they even gave two pink flamingos to the boys while we were at at Sonnys in Alachua, they still love them)

Lunch in Tampa happened again on vacation during the summer and now we are headed over to Atlanta in October. Everyone we have met has be so helpful and willing to share ideas. I am really looking forward to meeting more of the egg family next month. I can't wait to put faces with the names.

How about throwing in your best or first eggsperience with the community, I love the stories (I know others will as well.)

There are so many wonderful folks on this forum. It almost becomes an extended family. The friendships I've made here are priceless. And I haven't even met all the folks in person yet. I'm lookingh forward to meeting you too, Crimsongator. I'll be in the back of the Octoberfest field; I hope everyone comes up to say hello.
  • I have yet to see my best Eggperience. The just keep getting better and better..

My first eggperience was Eggs By The Bay. I was rather sad I missed this years, but I won't miss next years..
