This post is a little late. I spent the Labor day weekend up in the Sierras at a little lake. Family, Friends and Myself have been going here for years. It is an hour off the paved road accessed by 4wd only. Took the small. (First photo is to show how tough these eggs are, no need to worry about traveling with them)

That's what I am talking about. Nice pics. I can imagine the stars, the smell in the air, the chiliness of the water and the night air. The sounds. The tastes.

Thanks for the pix, and cheers

what part of Texas is that in?Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

Northern CA about an Hour from Tahoe.

I presume there are fish in that lake, yet I see none on the Egg.

Gunnar- I specificly keept it "simple" on this trip. I have been known to do a 5 course French dinner while camping before. Many of my friends are foodies. In fact two on this trip work at Chez Panisse Restaurant in Berkely. The food is part of the reason we go camping.

I only wish I were closer....I'd do dishes for food like that. :laugh:LBGE Katy (Houston) TX
