Keeping teperature up

I am having a hard time getting the temperature on my large egg above 300 degrees. Any Suggestions.

It didn't seem to be too full. I just cleaned it out and will try again. I am trying to get the temp to 650. Thanks

sounds like you have something plugged up so you are not getting air. you need air to get the temp high. How open is the damper and the DFMT?You must master temp, smoke, and time to achive moisture, taste, and texture! Visit www.bubbatim.com for BRISKET HELP

I had the damper open about 2" and the DFMT about 1/2 way open.
