Movable Egg

When I got my large egg I got plans for a table for it but haven't built it yet. After 18 months I've got orders to move and that fact got me thinking about what might be the best set-up for eggers that move quite a bit. Table is big and not collasible. The folding shelves on either side that BGE sells seem like an option.
Anybody have any better or novel ideas?
TIA, Tony

They now make folding composite shelves a left, a right and now a center. Where are they sending you?SEE YOU IN FLORIDA, March 14th and 15th 2014 http://www.sunshinestateeggfest.com You must master temp, smoke, and time to achive moisture, taste, and texture! Visit www.bubbatim.com for BRISKET HELP

Leavenworth, KS - right outside of KC. At least I'll be on the side of the bars where I can go home at night.

I hear that is/was good duty in KS. Great BBQ out there also. If you call the mothership, ask them for the new catalog and those new sheleves are in there.

I've entertained the idea of a table as I'm not in the position of having to move. So far, the 'eggmates' have worked just fine although I do have a few extra places (old gassers) to set things on when it gets busy. Until you're permanently settled in one nest, I wouldn't burden yourself with a costly accessory that you might have to leave behind. You can build a side table at a minimal expense that would give you some extra, wiggle room. Just my economical opinion...

Oh boy, think about all the bars at Ft Knox that will forever be behind bars... I, myself, prefer the bars that are wet & wild 8 - )

At this point in my life I'm more chairborne but in the Army you never know

BGE now makes three shelves (two sides plus the front). The shelves fold away and fit under an XL cover. When up, the shelve are quite sturdy and support anything I have had to put on them. I am very happy with this setup!

i converted this cart from sam's into a movable egg cart. the naked whiz did this too and he has a web page showing his construction

I'm just using the side tables and the nest mine came with. I pull it in and out of my wood shed everytime I use it. I'd love a table, but I decided with our harsh winters I'd rather protect it.

I think you cut that hole a little too big

how's this? :woohoo:

You give the egg some miracle-gro?
Or did you wash that table in hot water?
