Need Ideas for Handles

Chuck/Tx
Posts: 52
I bought a small egg last week. I need to move it around in the back yard at times. Although a small can be lifted by one person, I need some way, other than a bear hug, to pick it up. Any ideas for "handles" will be appreciated.

Hey Chuck,
I picked up something called the potlifter via Amazon. Really nice for picking up heavy/bulky items like BGEs...I used it to put LBGE #2 in its nest.

I'll second that emotion!
I even used it to lift this small out of my table all by myself and I'm not a big dude.
OTOH if I were going to move it on a regular basis use after use, I'd construct one of the popular wooden transporters that people use and then flip over and use as their small table. Someone will be along shortly to show theirs - transporter that is! :laugh:Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time! -
Do you mean like this?
This set-up works great. When you get it to where you are going, you just flip it over and set the egg on top -
yup! See - I knew another street car would come along shortly...Thanks!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time!

It would be awesome if someone could build one of those for a medium too.

I am sorry for not specifying. This transporter is for a medium
I just carry my small the old fashion way

Was thinking about a metal strap around it, below the lid strap, with a handle on each side, if such a think did exist, but the strap looks good too. Many thanks.
