New guy with a couple of questions.

I'm the new guy with a couple of questions. I'm not new to the egg as I have had a large egg for a few years. I recently purchased a new small egg to use during my tailgating and hunting/fishing pursuits. My small egg is leaking a bit of air out the back of the egg (near the back hinge). My question is can I add a small strip of felt to make a seal? The gap is very, very small.
Also, has anyone every constructed some type of box or contraption that protects a small egg for easy transport. I want to take this one with me for a little mobile egging. Thanks in advance.

Adjust the bands and yes someone has developed a contraption :woohoo:

Your bands need adjusting. Loosen the bottom band and push it towards the bottom. Loosen the top band and push it towards the top. Put pressure downwards and tighten the bands. Use a dollar bill around the entire gasket to make sure it is tight.
