cooking a butt direct

not new, just something left over from playing.....good idea to slowing down direct cooks, just can't catch drippings. twww.ceramicgrillstore.com ACGP, Inc.

I thought when cooking on direct that it was hotter on the grill and things such as ribs needed to be flipped. I dont think I have the ability or the will power not to open the egg until the cook is over.

I am not expert with any of this.
If I am searing or grilling, I want the grid closer to the lump.
If low and slow I want to try and get the food as far away from the lump as possible.

The Spider for is a great tool and then add the adjustable rig allows for a lot of versitility.
