Good morning Eggheads and Early Roustabouts.
I was in deeeep dreamstate when my recharging was abruptly interrupted by sensory notification of a pressure buildup in the antiquated plumbing system. Naturally, I instantly converted to vertical and activated the forward motion devices in the direction of the facility maintenance department where, upon arriving, I selected the appropriate porcelain furniture, tugged on the pressure release lever and let loose the excess pressure into the receiving portal where it was promptly dispatched to the recycling center for processing and redistribution to masses. Management by anticipatory action.
I quickly moved to the food preparation area and confirmed the satisfactory operation of the interior illuminator of the refrigeration unit. During the recent disagreeable weather called Gustav, many carbon units discovered that the illuminator was not functioning, thereby necessitating Plan B activity whereas food items were prioritized as to their importance and current state of coolness. Then those items were prepared for consummation. Most lifeforms went for the ice cream first. Then came all the other stored items over a period of time units until disposed of via the digestive process. Fortunately, our refrigeration illuminator never ceased operation so we continue to warehouse a large accumulation of chilled items.
Then on to the External Viewing Portal where I signaled to Rodney Dangerbird that I was up and about. He was having a conference with the staff: Deputy Larry Ropa, Reggie Regina, Sundown, Stick, and of course, Miss Mona. He was once again going over their individual responsibilities for the highly anticipated Coop Party in just over four greater time periods. He waved back that security was good so I left him to his conference.
A quick check of the Forum indicated limited activity but among the reports was Catering 101 offered by Night Watchman, Celtic Wolf. Apparently, someone was earlier considering a career as a caterer to which CW pointed out some important issues to consider. Eggcellent advice. That's why we compensate him handsomely. Given the inactivity of the 12 Members and 63 Guests, I opted to return to the recharging station.
Say goodnight Leroy.

Missed you by an hour, but it's the first time I've even been in the vicinity of the early morning forum check, Leroy. No idea why the grey matter is so restless....must be subconsciously pondering what to cook for the Coop-Di-Do! Goodnight.

I have a feeling you will come up with something good. But if you must, just look at all the posts with photos and I know for sure you will hit on something that strikes your fancy.
There are lots of folks coming who are recent or soon o be Eggheads, so anything you cook will be a learning Eggsperience for them.
See you October 4th unless we decide to have a Meet & Greet Friday night. Some want to do it, and some even want to combine an informal Meet & Greet with helping to get ready for Saturday. That almost sounds like a good plan. We'll let everyone know.
We're really getting Eggcited about it. Let's just hope the weather is fan-darn-tastic.
