Melted Plastic on EGG

It seems that some plastic was leaning against the side of my EGG and melted on it.

Was wondering if anyone has some advice for removing it without harming the finish??

Plastic lid of my PAM was leaning against the EGG.

maybe next time when it is warming up it will peal off. Not up to the hot stage but just soften the underneath enough that the top of the plastic is still cool and try pealing back?

i had a ziplock with marinade in it blow up against the egg and melted to it. over time it just went away maybe its still there, i have a habit of not seeing such things

Well when I had a plastic bucket too close it left about a 2" circle of melted plastic stuck to the side.

In trying to get it off I pulled a chunk of the green glaze off with it. I just painted over the bare spot with some high temp Hunter Green spray paint.

Get it hot again and spray it with Easy Off Oven cleaner.
