Come on guys, if I can get up off the operating table, throw a bigger than life Coop Party and still make it to Eggtoberfest, so can you. Let's see some registrations...

Joni & I would like very much to attend, but we have company coming in from Utah for that long weekend. Plus, I'm not sure what we would do with our 8-year-old girl. We can't leave her home alone, we couldn't bring her to your event, and she hates it when we board her at the kennel.

Hey there Spring Chicken, my son in Atlanta is registered now and the wife and I are thinking about joining him and his wife for the fest...looking for plane fares now...just will be a little late registering if we go. Only had my egg for about 6 weeks but have some good recipes to try and my sons been cooking for about 8 years on one, no two, no make that 3 eggs for a while. lol

he says he's gonna do a whole lamb - we'll see.

Here's an idea... Get a jump on Eggtoberfest by coming to the Coop Party October 4th. It's open to all Eggheads and Egghead Wannabee's.

We have a number of Newbies coming to learn as much as they can about cooking on the Egg. There will be a number of Eggsperienced Eggheads to answer just about any question that might come up.

Of course, the idea is to meet some fellow Eggheads, share recipes and just have a good time.

Hey, My Friend!

It's obvious that my financial/event planner was AWOL in my earlier life. At 58, I figure that if I can ever get shed of a full-time job, a part-time hobby, get an 11 year old out of school, get my bride off of umpteen volunteer boards, get off the ushering schedule at church, and pick up enough beer cans on I-10 on my way home from the Coop-Di-Do, ...then I'll be able to do a whole lot more of those sorts of things. Then again, senility will likely have set in by then.

Until then, I'm looking forward to your back yard....That, I can swing!
