Sawed open a few Knockwursts, stuffed with American Cheese, topped that with fresh garden Serranos, dusted with Zippyrub, then wrapped'm in bacon, to the egg, & 40 minutes later (indirect at 400) & its Miller Time:

That is very impressive! I was looking for ideas for a tailgate party. This may be the ticket. Do you think a regular hotdog would work.
-
absolutely, in fact the actual Texas Tommy is a regular hotdog, the zippy factor is bigger dog, hot pepper, & some seasoning, gotta say the pepper was the best upgrade of all, next time I'll put a lot more onhappy in the hut

For a regualar Nathan's hotdog what time frame would you recommend at 400 indirect? How about habanero peppers?

Those look great. Just in time for football season Thanks

Simple cook and a great taste. Muy Bien!!

Habaneros sound great, & for a regular Nathan's, I don't know if the time would change, what you are really looking at is for the bacon to be finished. One change I will make next time is leaving the cheese out (a lot of it leaked out) & putting it on top when they are done & leaving on the egg for another couple minutes till melted... Of course, the wife had another suggestion, just wrap more bacon around it so it can't leak out (she has a death wish) - either way would probably workhappy in the hut

One last parting comment/piece of advice, one sure way to make'm taste better is to drink more beer, it never fails - happy tailgating :Phappy in the hut

Awwwww yeah! Very interesting cook...looks like a real nice meal.

They certainly look better than mine. They use to be known down south as "city quail." I'll be trying it with peppers next time. Good idea.
