what a good time and temp for a 3/4 lb burger. thanks

    I'm a newbie so I usually ask the questions rather than answer them. However, since the experts are uncharacteristically slow today, I will give you my answer.

    My second cook was burgers, and because I was still breaking in my gasket I kept it at 350-375 (direct of course) and it took probably 7-8 minutes per side, possibly longer.

    Most of the Egg recipes I have seen say get it up to 600 or so (wide open) and cook 3 to 3.5 minutes per side and then shut Egg down for five minutes (after second flip). Haven't tried it so don't know.

    I agree with skihorn. I typically go around 375 with a few hickory chips. The time looks good too but make sure you use a thermometer for the proper temp and write the time down so you can reference it later. Enjoy the burgers!
