After almost 2 years of "thinking" about it, I finally purchased my first BGE yesterday.
I attended a demo day at Hill's Ace Hardware in Loganville on Saturday and after talking with several people and especially getting some good info from the Rusty Rooster, I went back yesterday and picked up a Large BGE.
Even though it was raining, I tried it out last night with some steaks just to see if I could get it lit and hold a temp.
After hearing about keeping the temp down for a couple of cooks, I did some steaks at 400 just to officially become an Egger.
I am looking forward to really learning how to use my EGG and making everything possible.
Thanks for all the help via this forum ... I finally did it !!!

Amen to that Emilluca! We bought our first egg (a large)about a month ago and we're going to an Eggfest next month to buy a second one (large also). At first we were wishing we would've bought an XL but after reading about it we're glad we didn't. Can't wait to get our new addition to the family.:)
