Silicone Glue for Gasket

I was going to use the 3m 77 spray but decided it is real messy to use.
I found Loctite Clear Silicone Adhesive.
Cured temperature range is -50F to 400F.
Is this ok stuff to use?

How hot do you take your Egg? Many regularly do steaks at 600-700, and pizzas nearly as hot.

I used a RTV 600* silicone adhesive. I imagine the Loctite will work, but I decided to go that extra step to minimize risk of gasket issues.
