Had several cooks planned this weekend including some brined pork chops, but due to a death in the family, only had time to do a couple of choice ribeyes..I marinaded these in Mrs. Dog's Jerk marinade for 2 days then rubbed them with a little DP Jamaican Firewalk before searing...

After the sear and during the 20 min rest I added a bit more DP JF then cooked at 400 until done..I prefer medium so cooked them to about 150-155....rested for 10 mins and added some crumbled blue cheese (I like blue cheese :woohoo: )

Served em up with some green beans and egged sweet taters with cinnamon/sugar poured over 'em

Good Eats! :woohoo: These had a faint kick to them but I thought the jerk rub kinda hid the beef flavor a little too much..probably would only marinade over night next time...

Yeah they were delicious, I just thought the jerk marinade kinda overtook the flavor and would probably only marinade over night next time..
