I don't like the dough, or the cook times. But, not bad for my first time.
A cheese biscuit mix.

Add a fattie for breakfast, good to go.

Hmm...confused a bit, Mike. Those look like the biscuits served at Red Lobster, and the fatties--how can you not recommend that?
Perhaps just some tweaking and a bit more experimentation on the biscuit side? I'm liking the butter/garlic mix you've suggested. -
Thicker biscuits and the neighbors leaving me alone. :woohoo:

I won't throw the baby out with the bath water. It was really a messy cook for the results.

That is the recipe I used, from Red Lobster. Or a variation.

I also thought the biscuits looked very much like the ones from Red Lobster. I think the biscuits are the best part of the Red Lobster meal. I'd like to have a recipe for those.

dough:
1 1/4 lbs. Bisquik
3 Oz. freshly shredded cheddar cheese
11 Oz. cold water
Garlic Spread:
1/2 cup melted butter
1 teas. garlic powder
1/4 teas. salt
1/8 teas. onion powder
1/8 teas. dried parsley
To cold water, add Bisquik and cheese, blending in a mixing bowl.
Mix until dough is firm.
Using a small scoop, place the dough on a baking pan lined with
baking paper. Bake in 375 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until
golden brown. While biscuits bake, combine spread ingredients.
Brush baked biscuits with the garlic topping. -
If it is for breakfast, throw in some eggs and have at it!
What kind of flour did you use for the biskets?
