I don't like the dough, or the cook times. But, not bad for my first time.

Add a fattie for breakfast, good to go.

Yea a nice garlic/butter mixture for browning and flavor.

Hmm...confused a bit, Mike. Those look like the biscuits served at Red Lobster, and the fatties--how can you not recommend that?

Perhaps just some tweaking and a bit more experimentation on the biscuit side? I'm liking the butter/garlic mix you've suggested.

I also thought the biscuits looked very much like the ones from Red Lobster. I think the biscuits are the best part of the Red Lobster meal. I'd like to have a recipe for those.

dough:
1 1/4 lbs. Bisquik
3 Oz. freshly shredded cheddar cheese
11 Oz. cold water
Garlic Spread:
1/2 cup melted butter
1 teas. garlic powder
1/4 teas. salt
1/8 teas. onion powder
1/8 teas. dried parsley
To cold water, add Bisquik and cheese, blending in a mixing bowl.
Mix until dough is firm.
Using a small scoop, place the dough on a baking pan lined with
baking paper. Bake in 375 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until
golden brown. While biscuits bake, combine spread ingredients.
Brush baked biscuits with the garlic topping.
