jerk chicken recipe - Revised
Here is the recipe for the jerk sauce and jerk chicken wings I had out there today at the EGGtoberfest (per several requests): [p]1 bundle green onions - coarsely chopped
½ cup soy sauce
1/8 cup white vinegar
¼ cup orange juice
6 cloves chopped garlic
½ tsp salt
½ tbs brown sugar
4 scotch bonnet peppers – chopped seeds and all
1-1/2 tbs ground black pepper
½ tsp Sage
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1 tbs Thyme
1 tbs ground Cloves
1 tbs ground Allspice
½ tbs chicken bullion seasoning
juice of ½ lime [p]Combine all loosely in blender/food processor [p]Let sit for 1 day[p]Marinate chicken overnight[p]Cook at 300f for 1 hour flipping every 15 minutes[p]Take a drink and enjoy!
