Morning All:
Pat asked for pics of the roast beef I had talked about in a response to one of his posts...so here it is.
Didn't get any pics while it was cooking, but went with direct at about 375 on the Woo2 ring so the roast was right at the felt level. Went to internal of about 125. Covered it with a heavy dose of DP Raising the Steaks. Here it is after sitting for about an hour before I started slicing it.

Here it is all sliced and put back into the same dish with all the juice...

and a close-up...

EggHatter put together a rice dish that I cooked on the Egg after pulling the meat. It is brown rice in liquid that is cooked at 325 for 75 minutes. I added a few bits of the roast with about 15 minutes left in the cook. The rice was very tasty. Add a salad and a nice red wine...

Morning Pat:
Thanks for the kind words (in both posts)...
It was a very tasty hunk of meat, just enough pepper taste to go with the taste of the good beef.
The rice was a pleasant surprise...EggHatter told me we have had it before, but I don't remember it. We haven't done it very often if we have had it before. I guess the fact that it has to cook for 60 to 75 minutes explains why we don't do it very often...just don't plan that far ahead as much as we should.
Hope you didn't get too wet this afternoon.Have a GREAT day!
