\"Hatch\"ed a little lunch!

Apparently, it's Hatch Chile season, and they were EVERYWHERE at my favorite Central Market. Including at the butcher counter, where they had all kinds on sausages made with them. These are Chicken, Hot Hatch Chiles, and Cheddar.

Also threw together some Texas 1015 Onion and Baby Bellas, sprayed a little Pam and a healthy dose of Shakin' the Tree. AWESOME!

WOW, I didn't realize it's been a year since I got the last batch of hatch. It's off to Central Market this week.

THanks for the tip, Brad! Are they already roasting the cases of peppers at CM? I've got to go get my stash before everything is gone again. I caught the tail end of it last year...

Yep Mike! They've got fresh ones and the ones they roast right in front of the store.

hey all, not only at central market for the roasting. the HEB on slaughter at mopac was roasting Hatch yesterday when I went there. I bought a case and shared with my son. Can't wait to use them in some cooks on my 5 week old egg. Gotta get some of those saugages too.
