We had a great time & some great food. Missed you being here. I have a present for you from Little Steven, through Fidal. So we will have to meet for lunch soon, & thank you Little Steven, can't wait to try this stuff. All I have heard about it is good.

BTW, you missed some really good smoked bologna sent to us by RichardFl.
  • I was wondering if they were still partying over there... hadn't seen a post like Ron usually does after the party is over. Look forward to seeing some pics. I had to get some stuff done around the house, school starts back up Monday. Hope to see everyone next month.

OK, Im late to the party......... +

Special thanks to The Rusty Rooster & Hen for hosting the wonderful event.
We had 10-12 North Georgia Eggers and Friends present for the multi-egg, multi dutch oven shindig.
Rooster DO'd some beef stew campfire style.
Some of the standouts were his Black Forest Cobbler with homemade ice cream, Smokey's Cornbread, and some sort of Sausage-Pepper Roll that was awesome (done by friend of the BGE-Bente)
Also we had smoked Bologna from Richard in Florida(thanks Richard). Is that right Tom? Anyway, it was also very good.
Those of you unable to attend (the Barretts, East Cobb, Doug123,EgginDawg, Big-un, Nephew, and many others were surely missed).

The sausage pepper roll that Bente brought is less formally known as armadillo eggs.

They were awesome too, TB. Tom's biscuit topped beef stew was great too.

I had a great time, thanks to Tom and Karen for hosting.

My BIL and I could only stay for a short while. I appreciate Tom and the Mrs. hosting the group. I wish I could have stayed long enough to try the beef stew. Tom I would love that recipe.

Thanks to Richard FL for sending the bologna & the surprise gift from North of the Border...thanks Little Steven... :cheer:

I look forward to hosting this motley crew at my house... :woohoo:

BTW the Falcons game stunk...my BIL and I both said we should have stayed at Tom's.. :silly:

Sorry to have missed it Tom. Between having the entire family over earlier in the day for my youngest son's birthday and then going out and buying a car for my 16 year-old my day was definitely shot.
Todd, I'll put the spatula in the mail today....BTW- I served the rest of that Chipotle berry jelly over cream cheese to my guests on Saturday and they LOVED it. Thanks again!
