cant sign inw/ old handle what to do?

what happened to this site ? I tried to log on and even registered as my handle was on the old forum BUSHGATOR and it would not let me sign in I tried again to sign in as acctivating it and it recconized my email address but still would not go any further How do I get this done using my old handle?

I just got answered on the other forum(main) that there was an email sent out to everyone I DID NOT GET ONE I want to use my original handle that I had what needs to be done to get it back?

Your old handle has not yet been activated. Accounts on the old forum did not have passwords, or, require email addresses. The new format requires both. Additionally, only one account can be created per email address.

So, to get your original handle going, you'll need to "activate" it which will require supplying a password (you can use the same password as you other account) and an email address.

If you wish to use the same email address, then please edit your current account and change the email address to something else (e.g. add "-disabled" to it like mailbox-disabled@domain.com). I noticed that you're logged in now on your new account, so you can go to "Member -> Edit My Profile" to change the email address.

Once you've cleared the email address, then you can activate your old account by clicking the link below, completing the form, and, following the instructions. You will only have to do this once.
