  • We don't want it either! This has been the rainiest summer ever here.

But it's good for our new trees and grass...

I'll sign up for some of that rain, Jason. We were watching the radar yesterday, and the big glob of green split up and went to San Antonio and Houston. Completely passed us by. I'm not looking forward to seeing my water bill in a few weeks, but it's cheaper than getting several palettes of sod installed.

Hope you guys dry out. Do you have a custom chimney for your cooker?

Jason...we finally got some of the rain you have been getting. Been watching these fronts go through along the coast and soaking you folks. But we haven't had any significant rain for about 3 weeks.Supposed to end this morning.I saw a blurb on the weather channel that Mobile Al gets more rain/yr than any city in the US. Hard to believe.Hope U get some relief.

We have had rain here almost every day and a thunder storm every afternoon. I have not had to water the veg. garden for two months.

I water my Earth boxes from a rain barrel as they don't get any direct rain. The barrels refill themselves every evening.

    that's quite the impressive garden.
  • We will donate some rain as well. Been raining 5 out of 7 days for the past two months. Got webbed feet.

My grass is making so much noise growing, it keeps me up at night. I have my mower set to cut at 4" and could cut every 3 days. Next two days are forecasted at 20% so you may be getting some relief Jason.

Raining sideways here too (New Orleans). Took me 2 hours to get into work this a.m. An 18 wheeler jackknifed on the The Causeway (world's longest bridge www.thecauseway.com and had it closed most of rush hour or 2hours.

Don't ever wish the rain away. People in Georgia did and now we are in a barren waste land.

We don't have it as bad as some of you, but here in CT we've had the wettest July (and continuing into August) in 100 years.

I have to cut my grass every 5 days. Normally this time of year I can go 10 days. My rain barrel is full. I can't remember the last time I had to water anything. Mold counts are high and my allergies are killing me.

Again, many people have it worse, but I'm definitely sick of the rain too. And I'm not someone who hates rain.
