Yet Another OT - Free Bose Radio

If any of you Eggheads are electronics tinkerers and want a genuine Bose Wave Radio, with remote control, you can have it.

It just went out two days ago. I can't fix it and don't want to pay to have it fixed. Only used it about an hour or so over the ten years we had it. The sound was beautiful but all I needed was a $350 bedside clock.

Email me and we'll go from there. Otherwise it becomes landfill fodder.

    that's too bad, Leroy! We've had ours for years in a very large room with a 19 foot ceiling. It really does put out a concert hall effect...of course I only have hearing in one ear so maybe I'm fooled! :whistle:

    I also had it in a high ceiling room and it sounded great. I just didn't use it because when I attach myself to the carbon unit recharging station I want to conk out immediately.

    I don't think having hearing in only one ear changes the sound quality. I only have one eye and it still sounds good to me.

    I have no idea why it quit working. There were no lightening strikes or power surges. I suppose it just got tired of waiting for me to turn it on.

    I hope someone can fix it and enjoy it for years.
