Just curious if any of our die-hard friends here are planning on attending this eggfest?

The charity to benefit is "Lost and found" which helps grieving children who have lost a parent/loved one.

I know that the intention is to make this a large event and the folks putting this on are hoping to see a lot of eggs being put to good use.

  • It is my intention at this point to make it over that way...my excuse for some good cooking and a trip to Bass Pro.

I'll be there will bells on. To close for me not to make it. I have a small group of people coming. I will be cooking some ribs (maybe a class) they haven't gotten back with me. Maybe a couple fatties. If there is an afterparty, will be having scampi. If you want to shoot me an e-mail, I will tell you why some aren't.

Bruce, you're parking next to me.

  • I know that the Large Egg raffle has been a point of contention for some so I thought I would explain the reasoning behind that decision. - The idea is that by doing it as a raffle (open to anyone in attendance), it would be the best way to generate a good sum of money for the charity indicated.

A meet-and-greet has been under discussion.

There will be gift bags for cooks and door prizes awarded.

Lets make this event a must-attend annual get together.
