I plan on cooking either a chunk-o-chest or a butt tonight, that will be cut up, vacuum sealed, frozen and brought into the wilderness in my backpack. Will bring hard rolls and Shake's Q sauce.[p]The big question is Which one will freeze and reheat best??
Which one will make the best wilderness Q??[p]Thanks

Nature Boy,[p]I'd personally take the brisket. No reason to think that the chunk o chest will keep better or taste better (though I prefer beef Q) but I think that it would be easier to slice, package, and reheat in the wilderness. The pork tends to shread where the brisket will hold its shape better and more of it will end up in your tummy than on the ground as bear food. Just my opinion, maybe its because I have brisket on my mind for this weekend also. Have a great time in the woods.[p]Troy
