Is the mini egg too small??
Comments
-
DGOAT,
The mini is small but is easy to carry. Here is a picture of 4 pork chops on the mini at the lake, these were 2" thick. If the mini is all you could afford right now, i would buy it and later buy a largger one.

Larry,[p]You got that grid sitting on a pie pan/drip pan or a ring to elevate the chops?[p]Fritz
-
Fritz,
I had a stainless steel ring made 1-1/2" x 9" x 1/8" to set a extra grid on.You won't belive the difference that 1-1/2" makes and you can cook on both grids at one time.

YB,[p]Where did you have the ring made? And I assume you bought another grid from BGE?[p]Thanks.[p]Mark

Omaha Mark,
I had the ring made at a welding shop and I did buy the extra grid from BGE.The mini is a lot of fun.
