How many peaches you willing to give up for a recipe?
Just Kidding.
The most common BGE cobbler recipe involves canned peaches. It would probably work with fresh peaches but you would need to add some form of liquid &/or sweetner. -
Here are a couple using fresh peaches:

Peaches are in season here in southern Ontario, so it's that time to eat as many as possible. After the most
delicious steak I have ever had (first t-rex), I put that Egg heat to use on a peach cobbler (blueberries are optional).
This cobbler recipe comes from Texascooking.com, and is stunningly good, and pretty
simple as well. I used the plate setter with feet down and the grill to make some
space between the plate setter and the pyrex dish. Egg was stable at 360 degrees.
Grandma's Peach Cobbler
* 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
* 1 cup flour
* 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup sugar
* 1 cup milk
* 3 cups peeled and sliced fresh peaches, with their juices
Preheat Egg to 375°F.
Put the butter in a 9x13-inch Pyrex baking dish and put the dish in the preheated Egg.
While the butter is melting, mix up the batter by combining the flour, baking powder,
salt, sugar and milk.
When the butter is completely melted, pour the batter into the melted butter. Then,
carefully spoon the peaches and juice evenly over the batter. Bake for 30-40 minutes.
Today has been a great day for eating! Bon appetit,
Mark

I have a dislike of baking, but this is one of maybe
three exceptions.
For the batter:
1/4 cup butter
1 1/4 cups flour
2 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
For the filling:
4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix together the peaches, sugar, cinnamon and lemon
juice. Allow the mixture to sit while you make the
batter, so the juices can be drawn out of the peaches.
Put the butter in a 9"x13" Pyrex baking dish in the
preheating oven. While the butter is melting, mix up
the batter by combining the flour, baking powder,
salt, sugar and milk.
When the butter is completely melted, remove the pan
and pour the batter into the melted butter. Carefully
spoon the peach mixture over the batter,
Return dish to the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
As the cobbler bakes, the batter will begin to rise up
and around the peaches.
Vary amount of butter to personal taste (I pull back a
little) and vary the sugar by the sweetness of the
peaches.
