Things I don't like about new format

1) I don't like having to scroll thru the adds to get to the messages everytime .

2) My search results expire after I do a search and go to a message then go back to the search results. I have to retype my search word to get the results again.

    The banners are collapsable. Just click in the title bar and they can all be collapsed to just one line. We have an "FAQ" item on this: http://www.eggheadforum.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=125&Itemid=182.

    Try using "tabbed browsing" to view search results. I use it for Google searches too so I don't have to click "back" a bunch of times to get back to my search. When you see a message you want to read, use a "Ctrl-click", or on a Mac, "Cmd-click", to view the message. This will open a new tab which you can close when you're done reading the message. We'll look into why the results are being expired, as time permits, but in the meantime tabbed browsing should help.
