The local Winn-Dixie had a sale on whole sirloin tips, so I got one. Question is, now what? The thing is over 12 lbs. Anybody every cook a whole sirloin tip? If so, please share your experience.[p]I am thinking about cutting it up into smaller roasts. Don't think we can eat the whole thing before it goes bad. Any suggestions?[p]I also picked up some pork spare ribs for $.99/ lb. I know what to do with those :-)[p]Bill

Bill in VA,
You could cut a nice 5 or 6 pound roast off of it, and cook it medium rare, rest it a spell, then slice thin against the grain...for some nice sandwiches with horseradish. Then take the other big chunk, and make a bunch of beef jerky![p]Cheers
Chris
