I looked it up “Fatty” in the Eggictionary and it’s not there. It looks like a meat loaf egg sandwich from my view. I give, what is a Fatty?

A "fatty" is a 1# or 2# log of either prerolled sauage such as Jimmy Deans or sausage you have rolled yourself.

The simple version is to take it out of the package put your favorite rub on it and cook it, usually indirect at 300-350 until the internal temp is 175-180. You can then slice it up for breakfast or an anytime snack.

Also, as in the picture above you can flatten out the loaf and stuff it and then roll it back up and cook.

Try it you will not believe how good and simple this is...
  • Here is one stuffed with jalapenos and cheese. Nice and easy and mightyfine. Rolled my own on this one with pork sausage. Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage is great like this.

I made a McRib fattie yearlier this year. The neighbors loved it. Give it a try, just takes a bit more handling to form the "rib"
