Thanks Ted for the John Henry Pecan Rub.This stuff is awesome :woohoo: Tried it on boneless,skinless,flavorless chicken :laugh: Came out great.

I'm just about to throw some bacon wrapped, pecan rubbed pork chops on the Egg, my first use of the pecan rub I got last week.
I'll let you know how they come out, the chicken looks great.

Doug, did you have any problem with the rub not sticking to the breasts?

Not really greg.I did use a little EVOO first,then coated with the J.H.They were pretty tasty Sorry you couldn't make it yesterday.Hope to see you in August :woohoo:

Are you gonna let it cool down so I can get it back? I hope you enjoy it for the week.I'll come back next weekend to get it -
I've got to figure out the picture hosting, the pecan rubbed, bacon wrapped chops were great.
My neighbor just got back from fishing in northern Wisconsin, and I sent a couple over to him, and he called about 20 minutes later to rave about them.
I really appreciate all the support from everyone on this site, I'm feeling more confident, eating well, and having fun.

It has become my favorite rub. Works well with wings, ribs, and veggies. Good looking cook by the way.
