I attempted my first overnight cook last evening. I put a 6-7 lb pork butt on around 9:45 PM. Its a little past 12 noon here in the east and my internal temp is 196. Almost there![p]I cooked indirect at 250* all night without a hiccup thanks to Elder Ward's outstanding suggestions on how to build a fire for a long cook.[p]I also had a slight drop in internal temp. It made it up to 185, then dropped to 180 this morning before it started to creep back up again. I didn't worry because I read about that one here on the forum.[p]Thanks to all here at the forum with their informative posts my first overnight cook was a success![p]Go Browns!!

Yes.  I own a blue egg!  Call Atlanta if you don't believe me!
[I put this here so everyone knows when I put pictures up with a blue egg in it]

    fiver29,
Glad to hear the good news. My first all nighter (about four weeks ago) went without a hitch. However, my last two lo/slow the BGE dropped to 150° by 5 AM. I was very happy the dogs woke me up for a walk when they did. Anyway, congrats!
