Grilled Alaskan King Crab

Hey all hope summer was a fine one.
I cooked some Alaskan King Crab legs the other night and I have always just boiled them for a few minutes.
I tried it over a smallish coal base and some cherry chips tossed in during teh cook. Marinated the legs in a a little Roasted red pepper Vinegarette some Old bay seasoning and butter...then I headed a cast iron skillet lightly in the oven and then added the crab legs and a little butter and lemmon juice... then I set it in the cooker to lightly smoke and cook--about 30 minutes or so- not real hot of a cook ( didnt even use a polder during the cook.)
They were by far the best I have ever had..I was so scared that I would dry them out and they were NO WAY tough or dry....Try it sometime Im sure you love them like this.[p] your ol pal alt
