Apologies to all who tried to e-mail me & couldn't. The e-mail address I put out on open forums & usenet is [email protected], the idea is that the automated spyders that the spammers use to troll forums just like this one will pick up the incorrect address & thus cut down on the amount of garbage I receive. If you delete the "DELETE", it works fine... It's an old usenet trick, but I guess that not everyone here is old ;)[p]Anyway, I'm going out on a limb & posting the email that I got from my dealer, with his permission, under the assumption that, since I'm not affiliated, it's not advertising.[p]I did notice, BTW that he is $10 cheaper than Cunningham Gas...[p]Sorry 'bout the confusion,
Hope you had a good Christmas.
Well the Nu-Temps have arrived.... the new wireless thermometers are
in: the basic unit - 1-transmiter and the base receiver are $59 for the
set, the extra transmitters are $39ea (can add up to 3 more) and all are
in stock. Also Nu-Temp has a really nice fork (that the others don't)
that is preprogramed with meat temps for each catagory and
simultaneously reads an accurate live temperature, as well as the forks
being made of stainless and being able to lift larger cuts of meat with
out breaking.
Call me @ 913-685-1111 or email me [email protected] with any
questions. Over the phone I can do Visa or MC or you can mail me a check
or I can ship COD if you would like to order.
Thanks for your interest and time.
Happy New Year and Warm Regards

McKevin, I've been playing on the Internet since 1995 and have never heard of your 'trick'.

McKevin, I bought my BGE from this man. He has moved to a different store, now in Stanley, Ks. instead of Lenexa, Ks. I was looking at Tru-Tel thermometers for the Egg proper. I will go there Monday if I can and purchase one of the remotes and tell you all how it works out.

randman, check out the link above regarding the probe - the manufacturer states that "A new model in March (WAP700) will allow a meat probe for BBQ applications."[p]

gfw, the store is only 15 miles away. It will be a nice drive and I need some wood chunks anyway. If he has the probe I will buy it, if not I can wait.
