Got my LBGE yesterday, and tried roasting a chicken. It was excellent -- just like on the rotisserie, but easier and with crispier skin.
But, the gasket on the lid came unglued. What kind of glue should I use to stick it back on?

Are new BGE's being shipped with the new Nomex gasket yet, or are they using up the old felt gasket inventory first? Anyone know?

I bought mine yesterday and it had the old gasket on it.

Has anyone used high temperature silicone as a gasket repair adhesive, if so does it hold up well? I don't seem to have any luck getting the adhesive supplied with the Rutland gaskets, to last more than a few months.
