Meatloaf and taters.

Car Wash Mike
Posts: 11,244
1lb ground chuck, 1/2 lb homemade sausage. A few bell peppers/onions/an egg and bread crumbs. Covered with JH Pecan Rub.
375 indirect.
Added taters after 30 minutes. More peppers and onions.
Let the drippings run into the taters for extra flavor. Good but needs work.
Plated with brown mushroom gravy, no pic. :(

Great minds, buddy. I'm about to make up a pan of it as well though the taters will likely be done on the stove top.

It looked good. Which part needed work? Were the taters bland?

Good looking cook. Were the spuds not crisp? Too much grease from the meat and sausage maybe. I put a small wire rack in the pan and finish the potatoes out of the grease.
